Our Klickitat trips include 2 days of rafting with one night of riverside camping.

We follow a general itinerary but customize each trip with different lunch spots and activities.

This overnight excursion is ideal for first-time rafters and campers, with fun whitewater and amazing views.

Our experienced guides will take you on an amazing whitewater rafting trip down the beautiful Klickitat River, just two hours from downtown Portland!

We provide you with all the gear, food, and knowledge you need to ensure your comfort and safety at every step of the trip.

Perfect for first-time campers; perfect for first-time rafters.


Getting There: 

I-84 East, from Portland, you'll drive along the jaw-dropping Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and cross the historic Hood River bridge. 

Our base is located at 25 BZ Glenwood Hwy, White Salmon WA 98672

Just two hours from Downtown, a world away.


Itinerary: 

Day 1:

Meet us at our outpost in White Salmon. You will park your vehicle here and load your personal gear into our rig. We drive a beautiful 40 minutes to the start of the river trip. After an orientation, we raft the Upper Klickitat for 20 miles back to camp (About 5 hours).

Camp is set riverside including your private tent with cots and sleeping bags.


Chairs are circled up for evening activities with a focus on our kitchen.


Dinner:

Cold drinks and charcuterie are served while the aroma from the grill fills the air.

Steaks and grilled seasonal veggies accompany an assortment of delicious side dishes. (Vegetarian options available)


Day 2:

Campers awake to the sound of the river and the smell of coffee and fresh air. 

Bacon, eggs & hashbrowns accompany oatmeal and fresh fruit.

Back onto the rafts for another 18 miles of beautiful river rafting. (About 4 hours)

Bus ride back to the outpost and we say goodbye.


Just a few hours from downtown Portland, this getaway transports you to the wilderness.
